So you get to the point in your life where you can throw the best party in town… and everyone you know (including yourself) has kids they need to hurry home to? Hire a babysitter! The best way to keep the party going if your guests have kids is to offer free babysitting in your home. Hire 1 babysitter for every 5 kids and set up a “popcorn party” in your basement or play room. This really means you are really planning two parties… but hey, it also means you will be throwing two successful parties! Make sure the kids have plenty of food and entertainment (movies, toys, etc.) and that there are quiet places with sleeping bags and pillows for the little ones who need to go to sleep before their parents are ready to go home.
